At a glance
The website uses one first-party local-storage entry to remember your browser-storage choice. Google Analytics measurement is on by default and can be turned off through Cookie settings. Advertising and cross-site tracking are not used. Local storage is not a cookie, but it is covered here because it performs a similar browser-storage function.
This inventory reflects the HUSHNET website build reviewed on the date above. We will update it when the site, measurement setup or optional browser technologies change.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text records that a website asks a browser to store and return. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, software development kits, and device identifiers. They can support essential functions, remember choices, measure usage, or deliver advertising.
Server logs and form submissions are personal-data processing, but they are not cookies. They are addressed in the Privacy Policy.
Technology currently used
Our present first-party browser-storage inventory is:
| Name | Type / party | Purpose | Data stored | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| hushnet-cookie-consent | Local storage First party Necessary / preference | Remembers that the notice was acknowledged so it does not appear on every page. | Policy version, analytics on/off choice, decision time, and expiry time. It does not contain your name, email, enquiry text, or an advertising profile. | Up to 12 months, unless you clear site data or we reset the choice after a material change. |
| _ga / _ga_* | Cookies Google Analytics Analytics / default on | Measures visits and page usage so HUSHNET can understand site performance and improve content. | A pseudonymous analytics identifier and measurement events. Do not submit personal or confidential information through analytics. | Provider-configured. You can turn analytics off through Cookie settings and clear existing cookies through your browser controls. |
If browser storage is unavailable, the public site still works, but the notice may reappear.
Analytics and technologies not used
Google Analytics measurement is enabled by default to help HUSHNET understand visits and improve the site. You can turn it off at any time. We do not use behavioural advertising, marketing pixels or cross-site tracking.
Analytics
Google Analytics measurement is on by default and can be turned off.
Advertising
No behavioural-advertising cookie identified.
Cross-site tracking
No social pixel or retargeting tag identified.
Personalization
No optional preference cookie identified.
Before adding another optional technology, HUSHNET will update this inventory and assess whether it must obtain your choice before the technology loads.
Hosting, forms and embedded partner content
The site is hosted and its enquiry forms are processed using Netlify services. Hosting, fraud prevention, security, and form delivery can involve IP addresses, request metadata, and server logs. Google Analytics is provided by Google for site measurement and can be turned off through Cookie settings.
Some vendor solution pages embed campaign content hosted by Dell Technologies or StructuredWeb, Sophos, and Veeam. Opening those pages can connect your browser to the relevant partner domain and may allow that provider to use its own cookies, analytics, campaign attribution and lead forms under its published notices.
HUSHNET links to services such as WhatsApp and social-media pages. Those providers may apply their own cookies or similar technologies after you choose a link and leave this site. Their notices and controls govern that separate activity.
Your choices and controls
Analytics is on by default. Choose Turn off analytics or use Cookie settings to disable future analytics measurement.
Choosing to turn analytics off does not prevent access to the public website. You can also clear existing analytics cookies through your browser's privacy or site-data controls.
You can remove the stored choice through your browser's privacy or site-data settings. Blocking or clearing local storage may cause the notice to appear again.
Review the notice again
Use this control to reopen the site notice.
Advertising and cross-site tracking are not used. HUSHNET will review Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signal handling if its measurement or advertising practices change.
Why we use necessary storage and analytics
We use the notice record to present clear information and remember that it has been acknowledged. We treat this limited use as necessary for operating the notice and our legitimate interest in avoiding repeated prompts, subject to your ability to clear or block local storage.
We use Google Analytics to understand site usage and improve content. You may turn it off at any time; doing so does not prevent access to the public website and stops future analytics measurement for that browser.
Changes and contact
We may revise this notice when the site, suppliers, or legal requirements change. The effective date and version above identify the notice in force. A material change affecting your choices will reset the stored acknowledgement where appropriate.
